About BWLA
 

The BWLA was formed for the express purpose of bringing together all amateur weightlifter's into a self-governing body. In 1957, the Association became a Limited Company, (limited by guarantee) and NOT having a share capital.

Its objectives and regulations are laid down in its Memorandum and Articles of Association; General Bye-Laws in the current edition of the BAWLA Handbook; and authorized amendments appearing in the Secretary's notes in the BWLA Official Journal "The British Weightlifter" Please see the Standards S.
